Trophy Elk Hunting
Our professionally guided elk hunts are a pack-in by horse type of trip. You'll ride at least 6 miles from our end-of-the-road Base Camp to our backcountry hunting camps. The hunts are an 8 day trip with 6 full hunting days. There is no drawing for tags--they are set aside for limited outfitter use. Our elk hunting is done in the Lolo and Panhandle management zones of the Idaho Fish & Game Department. Our camps are set up with wall tents (guest tent, guides tent, cook tent, privy tent, etc.), and each tent has heating stoves, and cots. You'll ride from camp each morning, hunt by foot, and ride back to camp each night. Meals are full course meals with lunches being sent with you each day. Larger groups welcome by special arrangement. Altitudes range from 4000' to 6000'.
We offer 2-on-1 professionally guided hunts. We try to keep each camp at a maximum of 4 hunters. We also offer a 1-on-1 Guided Hunt for the most dedicated elk hunters. These hunts give you opportunity to hunt areas that are rarely seen by other people, let alone hunters. If you are looking for the experience of a lifetime--these hunts are for you!
Semi-guided and unguided hunts are available. Your harvest is taken care of in an expert and timely manner, and, if desired, taken to a local butcher or taxidermist.
Success Rates: Archery elk harvest- 25-30%
Archery elk presentation- 60-70%
Rifle elk harvest--35-40%
